2. Eligibility
By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement. If you are placing an order on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.
3. Products and Orders
3.1 Made to Order
All DTF transfers and gang sheets are custom printed to order. Each order is produced specifically for you based on the artwork and specifications you provide. As such, orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
3.2 Order Acceptance
Placing an order does not constitute a binding contract until we confirm acceptance. Forge Transfers reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion — including orders with artwork that violates these terms, orders affected by pricing errors, or orders we are unable to fulfil due to capacity constraints. In the event of a cancellation initiated by us, you will receive a full refund.
3.3 Minimum Orders
Forge Transfers does not require a minimum order quantity. Individual transfers and full gang sheets are both available.
3.4 Pricing
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price displayed at checkout is the price you will be charged.
3.5 Taxes
Applicable Canadian taxes including HST will be applied at checkout based on your province of delivery.
4. Artwork and File Submission
4.1 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, and content of any artwork or files you submit. This includes spelling, sizing, resolution, colour setup, and file format. We print exactly what you send us.
4.2 File Requirements
Files must meet our published specifications including minimum resolution of 300 DPI at print size. Files that do not meet our guidelines may produce poor quality results. We are not liable for print quality issues caused by non-compliant artwork. If you are unsure about your file, contact us before placing your order.
4.3 Artwork Review
We perform a basic technical check on all submitted files before printing. If we identify a clear issue — such as a file that is obviously too low resolution to print acceptably — we will contact you before proceeding. However, this review does not guarantee we will catch every error and does not transfer responsibility for artwork accuracy from you to us.
4.4 Intellectual Property
By submitting artwork you confirm that you own the rights to that artwork or have obtained all necessary licences and permissions to reproduce it. You agree that Forge Transfers is not responsible for any intellectual property infringement arising from artwork you submit. We reserve the right to refuse any order that we believe infringes on third-party intellectual property rights including but not limited to trademarked logos, licensed characters, or copyrighted designs without proof of authorisation.
4.5 Prohibited Content
We will not print artwork that is illegal, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or that violates any applicable law. Forge Transfers reserves the right to refuse any order containing prohibited content without explanation.
5. Turnaround and Shipping
5.1 Production Time
Standard production turnaround is 24–48 business hours from artwork approval. This is our target and we achieve it consistently — however it is not a guaranteed timeframe. During peak periods or due to circumstances outside our control, production may take longer. We will communicate any delays proactively.
5.2 Shipping
We ship from Brampton, Ontario using Canada Post, UPS, and Purolator. Shipping timelines vary by destination and carrier. Once your order has been dispatched, Forge Transfers is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, or customs delays for international orders.
5.3 Shipping Damage
If your order arrives damaged due to shipping, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the damaged packaging and product. We will work with the carrier to resolve the claim and arrange a replacement where applicable.
5.4 Delivery Address
You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address at checkout. Forge Transfers is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
6. Quality and Satisfaction
We stand behind every transfer we print. If your order arrives with a defect, misprint, or damage caused by us, we will make it right. Please refer to our Returns and Reprints Policy for full details on how to submit a claim, eligible scenarios, and available resolutions.
Transfers that have been applied to a garment are considered used and are not eligible for return or refund regardless of the reason.
7. Colour and Variation
DTF printing involves inherent variation between digital design files, monitor display, and physical print output. Minor colour variations are a normal characteristic of the printing process and are not considered defects. If colour accuracy is critical to your order, we recommend ordering a test transfer before committing to a large volume run. We will do our best to match your file — however exact colour matching is not guaranteed unless explicitly agreed in writing prior to production.
8. Intellectual Property — Forge Transfers
All content on forgetransfers.ca including text, images, logos, and branding is the property of Forge Transfers and Forge & Fabric. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Forge Transfers and Forge & Fabric shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or services — including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of revenue, or loss of data.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from an order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific order.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Canadian consumer protection law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Forge Transfers, Forge & Fabric, and their officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense — including legal fees — arising from your use of our services, your artwork submissions, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
11. Privacy
Your use of forgetransfers.ca is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. We collect and use your personal information only as described in our Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation including PIPEDA.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
13. Changes to These Terms
Forge Transfers reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the website or placement of orders after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
