Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using forgetransfers.ca or placing an order with Forge Transfers. By accessing our website, using our services, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
1. About Forge Transfers
Forge Transfers is the DTF transfer division of Forge & Fabric, a printing facility located in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. We produce custom direct-to-film (DTF) transfers and gang sheets for decorators, embroidery shops, apparel brands, businesses, and other customers across Canada.
Our transfers are produced in-house at our Brampton facility using professional-grade equipment.

2. Eligibility and Account Information
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement.
If you are placing an order on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business or organization to these terms.
You are responsible for ensuring that all account, billing, payment, shipping, and contact information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity conducted through your account.
3. Products and Orders
3.1 Made to Order: All DTF transfers and gang sheets are custom produced based on the artwork, sizing, quantities, and specifications you submit. Because these products are made specifically for you, orders may not be cancelled once production has begun.
3.2 Order Acceptance: Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is not considered accepted until payment has been successfully processed and Forge Transfers confirms or begins processing the order.
Forge Transfers reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order at our discretion, including orders affected by pricing errors, technical issues, prohibited artwork, suspected fraud, capacity limitations, or other circumstances that prevent us from reasonably fulfilling the order.
If we cancel an order before production due to an issue on our end, any amount paid for the cancelled portion of the order will be refunded.
3.3 Minimum Orders: Unless otherwise stated on the website, Forge Transfers does not require a minimum order quantity. Individual transfers and gang sheets may both be available.
3.4 Pricing: All prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Pricing may change without notice. The price shown at checkout at the time your order is placed is the price that applies to that order, except in the case of an obvious pricing or technical error.
3.5 Taxes: Applicable taxes will be added at checkout based on the order and delivery location.
3.6 Promotions and Discounts: Promotional offers, discount codes, and special pricing may be subject to separate terms, expiration dates, quantity restrictions, or eligibility requirements. Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers cannot be combined.
4. Artwork and File Submission
4.1 Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for the accuracy, quality, sizing, spelling, colours, transparency, resolution, and content of all artwork and files you submit. Unless otherwise agreed, we print based on the files and specifications provided to us.
4.2 File Requirements: Artwork should meet the file preparation requirements published on our website, including any applicable resolution, sizing, colour, transparency, or format requirements.
Files that do not meet our recommended specifications may produce lower-quality results. Forge Transfers is not responsible for print quality issues directly caused by low-resolution, improperly prepared, incorrectly sized, or otherwise unsuitable customer-supplied artwork.
If you are unsure whether your artwork is suitable for printing, contact us before placing your order.
4.3 Artwork Review: We may perform a basic technical review of submitted artwork before production. If we notice an obvious technical issue, we may contact you before printing.
This review is provided as a courtesy and does not guarantee that we will identify every spelling error, design issue, sizing problem, colour concern, transparency issue, or other mistake in your file.
Responsibility for final artwork approval remains with the customer.
4.4 Artwork Changes: If you request changes to artwork, sizing, quantities, placement, or other specifications after placing an order, additional charges or production delays may apply. Changes may not be possible once production has begun.
4.5 Intellectual Property: By submitting artwork to Forge Transfers, you represent that you own the artwork or have all necessary rights, licences, permissions, or authorizations required to reproduce it.
You are responsible for any claims arising from artwork you submit.
Forge Transfers reserves the right to refuse artwork that we reasonably believe infringes a third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
4.6 Prohibited Content: Forge Transfers reserves the right to refuse artwork or orders containing content that is illegal or otherwise prohibited by applicable law.
5. Production Turnaround
Our standard production turnaround is generally 24 to 48 business hours after receiving print-ready artwork and any required approvals.
Turnaround times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless a guaranteed deadline has been expressly agreed to by Forge Transfers in writing.
Production times may vary depending on order size, artwork issues, equipment availability, seasonal demand, holidays, supply interruptions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Shipping and transit time are separate from production turnaround time.
6. Shipping and Delivery
6.1 Shipping: Orders may be shipped using Canada Post, UPS, Purolator, or another available carrier.
Shipping and delivery estimates shown at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed by Forge Transfers.
6.2 Carrier Delays: Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery is subject to the carrier's network and service conditions. Forge Transfers is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, customs, service interruptions, incorrect customer information, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
6.3 Lost Packages: If a shipment appears to be lost in transit, please contact us so we can assist with the carrier investigation or claim process where applicable.
6.4 Shipping Damage: If your order arrives visibly damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs of the packaging, shipping label, and affected product.
We will review the issue and, where appropriate, assist with a carrier claim, replacement, reprint, or other reasonable resolution.
6.5 Delivery Address: You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
Forge Transfers is not responsible for losses, additional shipping costs, or delivery issues resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
Orders returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal, or failed delivery may be subject to additional shipping charges before they are sent again.
7. Returns, Reprints, and Quality Issues
Because DTF transfers and gang sheets are custom manufactured products, they are generally not eligible for return or exchange simply because a customer changes their mind or no longer requires the product.
If your order contains a manufacturing defect, printing error caused by Forge Transfers, incorrect quantity, or other issue attributable to us, contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your order number, photographs, and a description of the issue.
Eligible issues may be resolved through a reprint, replacement, store credit, partial refund, or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Transfers that have already been applied to garments or other products are considered used. We may not be able to verify or remedy issues once transfers have been applied, particularly where the issue may relate to pressing equipment, garment composition, application settings, pressure, temperature, time, peeling method, or other conditions outside our control.
For this reason, we strongly recommend testing one transfer before applying an entire order.
8. Application of Transfers
Customers are responsible for properly applying transfers using suitable heat-press equipment and the application instructions provided by Forge Transfers.
Application temperatures, times, pressure settings, peel methods, and finishing instructions may vary depending on the transfer, garment, material, and equipment being used.
Forge Transfers is not responsible for damage to garments, products, transfers, or equipment resulting from incorrect application, unsuitable materials, improper heat-press settings, user error, or failure to follow recommended instructions.
When producing a larger apparel order, customers should test the transfer and application method before proceeding with full production.
9. Colour and Print Variation
Colours displayed on phones, computers, tablets, and other screens may differ from the appearance of the finished printed transfer.
DTF printing may also involve reasonable production variation between different print runs, materials, inks, equipment settings, and digital files.
Minor colour variation is considered a normal characteristic of the printing process and is not necessarily a defect.
If colour accuracy is critical, we recommend ordering and approving a physical test transfer before placing a large-volume order.
Exact Pantone, monitor, or previously printed colour matching is not guaranteed unless specifically agreed to by Forge Transfers in writing before production.
10. Website Information and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to ensure information on forgetransfers.ca is accurate and current. However, product descriptions, pricing, availability, turnaround times, promotions, and other information may occasionally contain errors or omissions.
Forge Transfers reserves the right to correct errors, update information, change products or pricing, and cancel an affected order where an obvious error has occurred.
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit any product, service, website feature, or offering at any time.
11. Shopify and Third-Party Services
Our online store may be hosted or supported by Shopify and may use third-party payment processors, shipping providers, applications, analytics providers, or other technology services.
Your use of certain third-party features may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.
Purchases made through the Forge Transfers store are transactions between you and Forge Transfers.
12. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to websites, applications, or services operated by third parties.
Forge Transfers does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, products, services, or policies of third-party websites.
Accessing third-party websites is at your own discretion.
13. Intellectual Property — Forge Transfers
Unless otherwise stated, the content of forgetransfers.ca, including Forge Transfers and Forge & Fabric names, logos, branding, graphics, layouts, photographs, text, product descriptions, website content, and original materials, is owned by or licensed to Forge Transfers or Forge & Fabric.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, sell, or commercially use our website content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Customer-owned artwork submitted solely for printing remains the property of its respective owner.
14. Reviews and Feedback
If you voluntarily submit a review, testimonial, suggestion, photograph, feedback, or other content to Forge Transfers, you confirm that you have the right to provide that content.
You grant Forge Transfers permission to use submitted reviews and feedback for reasonable business, promotional, operational, and marketing purposes, subject to applicable law.
We reserve the right to remove reviews or submissions that contain unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate content.
15. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our website or services to violate applicable law, infringe the rights of another person or organization, transmit malicious software, interfere with the security or operation of our website, impersonate another person, submit fraudulent information, or engage in conduct intended to disrupt or misuse our services.
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to our services where we reasonably believe these terms have been violated.
16. Privacy
Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.
Because our online store may use Shopify and other third-party services, certain information may also be processed by those service providers to operate the website, process payments, fulfill orders, prevent fraud, provide analytics, or perform other necessary services.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Except for any warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded, Forge Transfers does not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available, or that every product will be suitable for every particular purpose or application.
Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights that apply to you under applicable law.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Forge Transfers, Forge & Fabric, and their owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products, website, or services, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, or data.
Where liability cannot otherwise be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from a specific order will not exceed the amount actually paid by you to Forge Transfers for that order.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
19. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Forge Transfers, Forge & Fabric, and their owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or reasonable legal expenses arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of our services, artwork or content you submit, or your infringement of a third party's rights.
20. Termination
Forge Transfers may suspend or terminate your access to our website or services where we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, engaged in fraud or unlawful activity, interfered with our operations, or created risk or liability for Forge Transfers or another person.
Any provisions that by their nature are intended to survive termination will continue to apply.
21. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
22. Waiver and Entire Agreement
If Forge Transfers does not immediately enforce a right or provision under these terms, that does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Returns and Reprints Policy, and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement governing your use of our website and services.
23. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
Subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law, disputes relating to these terms or our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
24. Changes to These Terms
Forge Transfers may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
The current version will be posted on forgetransfers.ca with the applicable "Last updated" date.
Where required by law, we will provide notice of material changes.
Your continued use of the website or placement of orders after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
